It’s hard to believe that 2015 is upon us, it seems like yesterday it was just 1985, well at least for some of us maybe. But regardless, 2014 has come and gone and 2015 is here! 2015 may look completely different from what you were thinking if you’ve ever seen the movie “Back To The Future 2” because according to the movie we should be riding hover boards, dressing really weird and the Cubs will win the World Series! Thankfully, none of those things are true (or happened), but I can say that the one thing that hasn’t changed is Jesus Christ, In fact Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
I’m thankful that as much as things change in our world, God never does! Even though our world and lives constantly change, God promises that He never leave us or forsake us. So no matter what 2015 has in store for you, take heart and know that God is right by your side every minute of every day this year. Take time to focus more on Him than focusing on your “New Year’s Resolutions” which will be an afterthought before January 15th. I want to challenge you to “Be still and know that He is God” as he says in Psalm 46:10. I have included a video of the song “I Am Not Alone” by Kari Jobe and let me encourage you that no mater what happens in 2015 (the good, the bad and the ugly) that God is with you, he has gone before you and He will never leave you!
